Spiderman 2 is absolutely going to kill it. Spiderman PS4 hit 33 million copies sold sometime last year and the sequel has characters like Venom too. We’re looking at a title that could easily sell 10 million in a month and 40 million + lifetime.
People are hyping up Starfield but Fallout 4 (Fallout’s most successful title) only sold one third of Spiderman’s lifetime sales. I can’t wait to see what happens in September with these two going head to head. I think the Spiderman 2 reveal is going to make people hyped. No way they’ve been secretive this long only to blow it with a mediocre trailer.
Sony seems to be doing well because not only do they make amazing games but their titles are more attractive to consumers. Final Fantasy 16, Spiderman 2, Wolverine all have massive name recognition and each of them is going to have big time sales
